There isn't much speech in this video, but there are a lot of sound effects and music. Only people who can hear would notice that Q*bert says "dinosaur" at 3:23 and 11:24. The autogenerated English captions do not pick up on this, interpreting the former as "thank you" and completely missing the latter. Apparently Q*bert is supposed to say random syllables, so him saying "dinosaur" twice doesn't make sense.

Reasons why Red is absolutely iconic in this video: - 0:08 Puts the hoodie on backwards (admit it, we've all done this once) - 0:24 _"Whatchu dooooing?"_ - 0:39 Excited little tippy tap - 0:54 Tries game and fails immediately - 3:16 Just freaking GOES for it - 3:27 Orange bumps into him and he looks back like "eXcUsE Me?" - 3:47 Hides behind Green - 3:51 Celebrates despite not doing anything - 4:04 His run is _hilarious_ - 4:05 SLAMS into wall and gets separated from the others - 4:16 Again, that freaking run - 4:21 And again SMACKS against the wall in his frenzy to get away - 4:21 Also grabbed a grand total of THREE points during this whole pac-man section - 4:25 *_FACEPLANTS_* (Orange doesn't even try to catch him) - 4:33 Hunches like a little froggy - 5:31 "Go right- No sh- LEFT! LEFT!" - 5:39 Again unable to land on his feet - 6:11 Nearly gets hits by the big blue block - 6:22 Saves his friend :) - 6:24 NEARLY doesn't land - 6:42 Again, I can't get over the way he runs. It's so freaking funny - 6:46 Falls again and has to be hauled up by his friends - 6:54 Finally lands properly on his feet - 7:16 Tries to jump and completely fails while Blue and Green do a super well-coördinated jump together right after him - 7:42 I really wished Red would've just swung the stick and launched Qbert away like a baseball - 8:08 Just freaking PUNTS everything - 10:44 Tries to swim his way out of Qbert's mouth - 10:47 Proceeds to just lay there for like a minute - 11:02 *Tired clapping* Okay that was it lol Idk why I spend so much time doing this XD

The research the artist had done on this, must have been immense. I used to repair and resell old arcade machines when I was a kid back in the days, and one of the strangest stand-ups, made a wierd bang when character fell. Opened it up, to find it wasn't the speaker the sound came from, but a solonoid that would hit a metal plate. No one has the replacement part, so ended up replacing it with a solenoid from a gold ball return mechanism, which used a very similar solonoid. The arcade solonoid used 24v dc, and golf one 120vac, so got a DPDT relay that was rated 24DC coil, and 240v AC/DC on switch poles. Ran another 110v prior to transformer, to the golf solenoid, and it actually sounded much better than the original. Got my parts from both Digikey and Chaney electronics. Back then, Radio Shack charged $20 for that relay, yet Digikey $1.22. Those 16 pin dip switches RadioShack charged $5.99 for, got at 26¢ off of Digikey. Was my shop teacher who pointed me at the cheaper, yet better quality components.

Alan, just wanted to say that you are quite possibly my favourite animator on KZread. The way you started this whole series of Animator vs Animation as a versus story, fighting against the person controlling the computer, which then evolved into the animation learning to live along with the animator, eventually leading to just an entire world, and many worlds happening in this computer desktop, that I can only assume the animator is watching as it unfolds ^^ It's incredibly imaginative, stupendously well animated and stories like these are super cute. I love how much effort you put into fight scenes and action scenes, quick time movements happening in every frame. You make animation look so easy. Fantastic job, I'm so excited to see what you could POSSIBLY do next. Every time you reach a new summit. Much love from Australia.

Alan has quite possibly found the most effective loophole in the entire algorithm of KZread. He receives an adequate amount of popularity relative to the quality of his videos (which are extremely statisfying whilst also being qualitative and entertaining), but the short intervall of time between the publication of a video and the sudden explosive virality is just extreme. But he deserves this and I am very glad, that his videos have gotten so popular.

Alan genuinely has the most powerful computer in the whole world for running at least three emulators at once, context-generated physics (with sound) and up to about 100 individuals based on human knowledge with self-learning algorithms. I'm not just gonna take the idea as just part of the fun and not massive lore Okay, so I know it's not just Alan's computer. Maybe we could have a conspiracy or some sort of coverup...like most computers and devices are much more powerful than many independent software/hardware developers have caught of yet. I can't imagine the sheer amount of complexity the virus must have (it made Alan's computer get really hot while Alan's first computer getting destroyed by TCO and TDL didn't), but since it actually _lost_ it's clearly not very smart (you can see on Two Minute Papers how smart agents actually behave - they can do senseless incomprehensible things to achieve their goal). Whatever, there's _something_ going on here and it'd be really exciting if we got to know more about it.

Wow this video is amazing, I love old arcade games and it’s done so well here!

LEFT!" - 5:39 Again unable to land on his feet - 6:11 Nearly gets hits by the big blue block - 6:22 Saves his friend :) - 6:24 NEARLY doesn't land - 6:42 Again, I can't get over the way he runs. It's so freaking funny - 6:46 Falls again and has to be hauled up by his friends - 6:54 Finally lands properly on his feet - 7:16 Tries to jump and completely fails while Blue and Green do a super well-coördinated jump together right after him - 7:42 I really wished Red would've just swung the stick and launched Qbert away like a baseball - 8:08 Just freaking PUNTS everything - 10:44 Tries to swim his way out of Qbert's mouth - 10:47 Proceeds to just lay there for like a minute - 11:02 *Tired clapping* Okay that was it lol Idk why I spend so much time doing this XD

bro love these animations, just so much detail and effort has been put to it
The research the artist had done on this, must have been immense.
Can we just talk about how *wholesome* this is? It's so nostalgic, especially the Mario Bros. and the Donkey Kong sequances... Ahh, good ol' days. I just love that animation a lot. Cannot describe how fantastic this is. Awesome job as always.

Damn, those old and nostalgic games. The good ol' days.
But he deserves this and I am very glad, that his videos have gotten so popular.

have you ever considered that the life you have is given and the soul you carry is not yours? it's time to stop playing with Jesus and make mockery of the truth, and repent from your sins, NOW, and believe the gospel. its fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, Jesus can require your soul TODAY. pray this, admit out loud that "Jesus, there is no way i can get myself clean from my lust, pornography, and all other sins, so i could get to heaven. i have basically ruined my chances already to get into heaven by my own. there is no righteous/sinless person in the world except you. i believe you are the Son of God which is Spirit, and you always do what He says you to do, that is why you are called the Word, which became flesh. you are equal with God. You are the image of the living God. God made you Lord and ONLY Savior for humans, and the world didnt accept you, they crucified you. but little did the devil knew that your sinless blood could carry all of the world's sin! but you knew about it beforehand! i accept your cross work, i believe the gospel, that you did it for me, and for everyone else too. even for the wicked of the wicked. God of Abraham and Jacob, seal me with the promise of pulling me up to heaven like you raised Jesus too, seal me with Your Spirit, the Holy Spirit. i invite the Spirit of Truth into me, which is the same Spirit that Jesus, your Son has. I accept you Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior of my lif

Bro’s dream just get crazier and crazier and it’s epic

Lore wise, Alan’s computer is probably stronger. It managed to run a “simulation” where Alan could interact with the battle of the chosen one and the dark lord in episode five of AvA. That’s some next level hardware.

Alan works so hard for this animations. They're so perfect, how is he able to do all of this in only 1 month? This would take so much effort, I hope he gets more famous and more views.

There was a new short from Alan Becker that show that the entire time when they were at the arcade machine, Bob was under the screen the whole time during this video.
Forget Pixels, this is how you do the arcade game crossovers.
2 years have passed since the last nostalgic games match, it is worth the effort of this great man? YES OF COURSE.

The fact that this was all animated, and collaborated with classic games is amazing, pretty much one of the best animators out here Alan we love your work brother 🤎🙏🏾 I hope you have a blessing day today!
Here are 3 mistakes Qbert does in this video Immediately socks up Pauline away from donkey Kong Does tricks to green and blue Randomly avoids getting sucked up in the arcade
Pauline got violated so hard oml 💀
This is one of the most fun animations on the channel, simply because it's so nostalgic but also the mix of games together makes it really fun and the idea of these retro games that didn't have multiplayer, HAVING multiplayer is really interesting

Alan always know how to make a story where everyone ends up as friends without making it too boring or childlike. No dialouge helps with this, but its still neat how he does this!

Next animation is Animation vs Arcade Games 2 including: Arkanoid Centipede Tetris BurgerTime Dig Dug Elevator Action Pong Q*bert Asteroids Food Fight Space Invaders Robotron 2084 Galaga Frogger
Just realised it, but this one is a parallel to the Animator Vs Animation that first introduced the gang - Qbert as TSC (down to finding “employment” that lets him continue to live life), Yellow as Animator (ultimately talking it out with Qbert and finding a solution that fits both) and the rest of the gang as the animations that get (temporarily) erased.
7:07 I love how Qbert gave him a look like "Yeah, you saw nothing. Keep chuckin', ya ape."
Alan’s imagination is beyond creative, to create such detailed animations takes time, effort and skill! Amazingly done!!
The Galaga part was amazing
qbert is like a kirby antagonist, he does really bad things for the stickmen but is forgiven in the end
Is it just me or Alan’s animations are just like an on-going anime that I can’t stop watching.

You should make a animation of them all sneaking onto your phone right before you leave for a vacation, I think it would be fun to see what they did
Just love the way you introduce the events with a certain "lore" instead of just mashing characters in places for no reason
I couldn't even beat them as a kid and this is still the most entertainment I've gotten from arcade games
You should make an Animation VS Sonic the Hedgehog video with the classic Sonic games!
